During the Naturalization Interview you must demostrate the ability to read english sentences.

You must read out loud one out of three sentences to demostrate an ability to read in English.

Here is a few examples:
  • Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.
  • Alaska is the largest U.S. state.
  • Citizens can vote.
  • When is Thanksgiving?
  • What state has the most people?
  • Where is the White House?
  • How many Senators does the Congress have?
  • Washington is on the dollar bill.
